Disclaimer: This journal is used for RP purposes. It is fiction. The author does not claim to own or be Noah Calhoun, Ryan Gosling, or even Nicholas Sparks for that matter. No infringement is intended.

Born and raised in Seabrook, South Carolina, Noah Calhoun was born in 1921. His mother has passed away when he was younger, but his father Frank lives with Noah in an old, run down house. Noah works at the lumber yard, with his best friend Fin. June 6th, 1940, he goes to the carnival where he meets his first and only love Allie Hamilton.

After a summer of romance, Allie leaves, and Noah can't get over her. He writes her 365 letters, before trying to forget about her. He goes off to war with his best friend, after they left South Carolina for a better life in the big city. After spending two years in South Africa, they were deployed to Europe.

After the war, Noah came home to his only friend, his father, who told him that he had sold their house so he could buy the house he had been dreaming of his entire life. The "Windsor Plantation" as he called it. In reality, it was a run down, old house which needed new walls, a new roof, new floors, furniture, electricity and plumbing. But Noah was determined to make this the house he'd always wanted.

For love and attention, he turned to Martha Shaw, a war widow who lived in the next town. He used her to stop the heartache of loneliness. In good time, he finished the house. At the end, he got drunk for 10 days straight, considered setting the house on fire and the decided to put it up for sale. After many offers, he decided that he would keep the house. At the same time, Allie, whom he hadn't seen in 7 years, saw his picture in the paper, and decided to go back to Seabrook to sort things out with him.

After many arguments and a day full of passion, Allie left him to decide who she would spend the rest of her life with. She came back and Noah and Allie lived happily together.

Bio taken from HERE. Noah is being played based on the hit movie version of The Notebook character, as outlined here, vs. the book character.
